The story of the War of Saragarhi is very special?

The Saragari war was fought on 12 September 1897 between the British Indian Army and the Afghani army. This war happened in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, which is now in Pakistan.

The reason for the Saragari war :-

- Maj Gen Shubhi Sood, who wrote his book, in the war of the Indian Army, wrote that in the year 1897, British was in an effort to spread their rule outside India. India had a border with Afghanistan. Amin had a secret in Afghanistan.

- There were many clans on the outskirts of Afghanistan, which used to attack at many places in India. To prevent these attacks, two forts were built on the Saragarhi of Kohat located on the Indo-Afghan border.

- Fort of Gulistan, Lockhart Castle For the protection of these forts, 21 Sikhs of 36 Sikh battalions were deployed. On the morning of September 12, 1897, about 10 thousand Afghani soldiers attacked them.

Breakthrough with wall breakdown, still do not accept defeat :-

After the breaking of the fort wall, the morale of the Sikhs started to break. Slowly Afghan fighters were getting heavy At the same time, not every one of these Sikhs was a soldier. There was no cigarette in it, a signalman.

Leaving all the Sikh guns and slapping the slogan 'Joe Bole So Nihal', broke the sword with the sword.

21 Sikhs killed 600 Afghans. However, these fighters, including Havildar Ishar Singh, got the victory. After that the English soldiers threw the Afghans.

The Greatest Honor Found After Martyrdom:-

- All the martyrs were posthumously given the 'Indian Ordnance of Merit', the highest award of bravery from the British rule. This award is considered equivalent to today's Param Vir Chakra.

-In addition to this, the saga of these heroes was also told in British Parliament.
